ZWISCHENGOLDGLAS' BEAKER

Bohemia, 18th century.
The double-wall containing gold-etched decoration of motifs cut out of metal foil with an incised internal drawing. Depiction of battle scenes on horseback, one rider with a pistol, the other rider with a saber, interspersed with trophies and two tents, and acanthus leaf frieze. In the bottom: a gold medallion with a fortress on a ruby-red tinted ground.
H 8.5 cm.


- Star crack in the bottom, traces of glue in the glass
