TEA BOWL AND SAUCER WITH CHINOISERIE DECORATION

Meissen, ca. 1735 and possibly later.
Painted with chinoiserie decoration in the style of J.G. Höroldt, in an iron-red double-ring border on the saucer and with gold lace borders on the rim. Underglaze blue sword marks, potter's mark * on the bottom of the tea bowl.
Ø 12.7 cm, H 4.5 cm.


- Gilding slightly rubbed.
