LOT COMPRISING THREE "MINERS" CUPS AND SAUCERS

Meissen, middle of the 18th century.
Each piece with a landscape vignette depicting two or three miners or a miner and a foreman mining earth. In the interior base of the cups: German flower bouquets, gilt rim. On the backs of the saucers: scattered flowers. Underglaze blue sword marks, impressed numbers and gold mark N.
D 12 cm and 13.5 cm.

Provenance: Formerly Christie's 16 November 1998, Lot No. 80 and Lot No. 77.
