George III, ca. 1780. The case signed William Nash, Bridge (Canterbury) (William Nash, mentioned 1762, deceased 1794).
Black-lacquered wooden case decorated with gold tendrils. The door with a gallant scene in the 'Arte Povera' manner. Large wooden dial lacquered white. Movement with anchor escapement.
