LARGE ANTEPENDIUM (ALTAR FRONTAL)
Baroque, Spain 17th century.
Wood, carved in relief with scrolled leaves and flowers and with a central medallion depicting Mary crushing the Serpent. The medallion is painted with carnations. The outer frame is set with velour. Gilt wood and in part polychrome painted wood.
