Louis XIV, Paris ca. 1710. Movement and dial signed Boucheret à Paris.
Wooden case, lined with brown tortoiseshell and inlaid with engraved brass "en première et seconde partie" designed as scrolled leaves, palmettes, tendrils as well as birds and figures. Bronze mounts (in part replaced and newly gilded). Bronze dial with white enamel cartouches. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. 1 key.
