A PAIR OF TEA BOWLS AND SAUCERS IN THE IMARI STYLE

probably China 18th century. Marked with Meissen sword mark in underglaze blue.
Of gadrooned form, the ribs painted with underglaze blue stylised foliate borders, overpainted in iron red with chrysanthemum borders. Heightened in gold. Underglaze blue sword mark and S on the underside of the tea bowl.
D 6.6 cm / 11 cm

1 hairline crack, 1 edge chip.
