FIGURE OF A HUNTER WITH HUNTING HORN,

Meissen, mid-18th century.
With fur-lined cap and turquoise coat with gold trim over purple vest with gold decoration, blowing a hunting horn and supporting his left hand on a shotgun. Rocaille base heightened in gold. Traces of an underglaze blue sword mark. Incised number 41 on the back of the base.
H 13.5 cm. Restoration to the horn.
