Italian, 16th century.
Twisted iron handle tapering slightly downwards, with a fully sculpted handle end designed as an allegory of fertility (?) or a praying man (?) and a flattened knob. With remnants of gilding. Acanthus-shaped blade bolster. Feather-shaped blade.
