Copper engraving on fine laid paper with watermark: Narrow high crown with cross and probably without star and pendants. Meder 34, circa 1528.
Inscribed, dated and monogrammed in the plate in lower text band (ligature): MDXXIV AD.
18.1 x 11.5 cm.


Bartsch 106; Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 99; Meder 103 I a (of II b). - A superb, even, harmonious early impression with the visible border line and in parts a very fine margin around it. The paper with minimal even foxing, minor partial browning and very light traces of handling. Verso with light browning, and some foxing, the upper edge with remains of old mount. Overall in fine condition.
