BRONZE FIGURE OF APOLLO LYKEIOS
Veneto, probably Padua, 17th century.
Dark patinated bronze. Apollo as a young adult leaning against the trunk of a tree to which he has tied his quiver. He holds the bow in his left hand, his right forearm resting on his head. On a rectangular base and a later marble plinth.
H 24 cm, with stone plinth 28.5 cm.
