SUGAR BOWL ON PRESENTOIR
Lausanne, 2nd half of the 18th century. Maker's mark Baltazar Marty.
Oval, curved présentoir on four scrolled feet. The sugar bowl likewise on four scrolled feet and with sculptured branch handles. The lid slightly domed and decorated with a sculptured blossom finial. Engraved coat of arms of the patrician family of Berne von Büren on the mirror of the présentoir and on the wall of the bowl.
H 13.5 cm, L Présentoir 22 cm, 770 g.
