CREAM POT WITH CHINOISERIE DECORATION
Meissen, ca. 1723-24. The silver-gilt mount by Elias Adam from Augsburg.
On three paw feet, painted with a Chinese family with the master of the house at the table, the lady with a child on an armchair, having tea. Framed by a gold cartouche with Böttger luster and scrollwork in iron-red. Without mark. Gold number 4. on both parts. The silver-gilt mount with Augsburg assay master's mark and maker's mark EA.
H 13.6 cm.
