BÖTTGER PORCELAIN TEAPOT AND LID WITH RARE "HAUSMALER" DECORATION

Meissen, ca. 1720.
Spherical shape with curved spout. Painted in delicate enamel colors with Chinese figures. Domed lid with matching decoration.
H 13.5 cm.


Slightly rubbed and chipped.

- Christie's Geneva, European Faience and Porcelain, 12 May 1986, Lot No. 293 (as Meissen, probably painted by Lauche from Dresden).
