BILL (RONCA)

Italy, middle of the 16th century.
Forged iron with etched decoration designed as tendrils and figures. Square spike transitioning into the narrow blade. Top with sickle-shaped hook. Center of the blade with flat spike. Parrying spikes on both sides on the bottom of the blade. Conical socket and two langets. The blade features a scorpion mark. Later wooden shaft.
L 262 cm.

Signs of corrosion. Crack to the base of the sickle-shaped hook. Langets shortened.
