Collection of a total of ca. 85 bound, prints, some mounted, from the 17th to the early 19th century, after paintings and frescoes by DOMENICHINO. Engravers include Dominique BARRIERE (circa 1618-1678), Robert VAN AUDENAERD (1663-1743), Francesco ROSA (1625/38-1687), Carlo MARATTI (1625-1713), Domenico CUNEGO (1725/27-1803), Antonio CAPELLANI (1730/40- circa 1793), Pietro Antonio PAZZI (1706- circa 1766) and Francesco BARTOLOZZI (1727-1815).
Copper engravings and etchings.
With engraved monogram or signature mostly within the images, or the text bands.
Various sizes and formats, from 22 x 13 cm to 44 x 72 cm. Half vellum binding circa 1800 with gold embossed spine. Entitled on the spine: Raccolta die Stampe del Domenic.

The half vellum binding somewhat stained, worn, the spine with small areas of flaking and losses. The prints mostly with full margins or with margin, a few sheets trimmed as far as the border or the image. The smaller formats fully mounted on backing board, some larger format prints folded. A few prints with annotations in the margins or with old numbering. A few sheets with small tears and insignificant paper losses in the margins. The sheets with scattered small stains, some with stronger foxing. A few visible traces of glue, which show through partially on the back of the backing board. The margins with slight wear in parts. Overall good condition. Rare.
