BURGONET HELMET

German, end of the 16th century.
Blank iron. One-part skull with ribbed peak, transitioning into the eye guard. Nuremberg mark, indistinct, Neck guard, riveted. Cheekpieces, with five punctiform perforations each. Eye and neck guards as well as cheekpieces with ribbed edges.
H 27.1 cm. C: 1-2.
