The annual calendar patented by Patek Philippe in 1996 is an intelligent new type of calendar that only needs to be adjusted once a year. The calendar automatically adjusts for months with a length of 30 or 31 days, but since February has 28 or 29 days, a correction is necessary on 1 March.
