Rare, OMEGA Observatory anchor chronometer, ca. 1928.

Brass, nickel-plated.
Very large, 3-part, screw-down case with exhibition back. Fine enamel dial with original hands. Impressive precision anchor movement mounted in sapphires, No. 7049450, Cal. 60.8. Large compensation balance with Breguet spring and diamond capstone. D 74.5 mm.


Only 88 pieces were produced between 1925 and 1930. The watch was exclusively provided for Observatory competition purposes.
