GROUP OF MARBLE FIGURES "AMORE E PSICHE GIACENTI" (PSYCHE REVIVED BY CUPID'S KISS),
late Louis XVI, after the group by A. CANOVA (Antonio Canova, Possagno 1757-1822 Venice) sculptured in the years 1787-1793, probably Venice, 19th century.
"Carrara" marble. Some restorations. On a fine "Vert de Mer" marble pedestal.
85x40x66 cm. H with pedestal 174 cm.
