LACQUER COMMODE "AU DECOR CHINOIS",
Louis XV, Venice ca. 1730/40.
Shaped wood, finely carved with shells, rocailles and decorative frieze, and in part gilt. Exquisitely lacquered all-around, with a group of figures in an idealized park landscape on an azure ground. Front with 2 drawers. Iron mounts. "Giallo di Breccia" marble top.
