Louis XV, the case signed DUHAMEL (François Duhamel, maître 1750), guild stamp, the movement signed THURET A PARIS (Jacques III Thuret,1699 Paris 1738), Paris ca. 1740.
Green horn and gilt bronze. Bronze dial with 12 enamel cartouches with hours in Roman numerals. 8-day movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2- hour on bell. Opulent mounts and applications. Requires revision. Supplemented.
