- Via inheritance to the current owner, Swiss private collection.
Fred G. Meijer of RKD, The Hague has kindly confirmed the authenticity of this work on the basis of a photograph and indicates that this as well as the following lot, which presumably once were produced from one plate, use the same composition as that of the painting registered at the RKD under number 66473 and were probably produced after that work.
