BUST OF THE MOURNING JOHN,Renaissance, attributed to MAESTRO DEI COMPIANTI, Lombardy circa 1500. Carved limewood, verso flattened. Left hand missing. With remains of paint. Linde geschnitzt, verso geflacht. Johannes im Halbprofil, das von tiefer Trauer ergriffene Gesicht leicht zur Seite und nach unten gewandt, auf die rechte Hand gestützt. Linke Hand fehlt. Mit Resten einer Fassung. Kleinere Reparaturen und Kittungen. H 84 cm.
