IVORY TANKARD,Revival Style, German circa 1880. Exceptionally finely carved ivory. With the depiction of the "Judgment of Paris", satyr and small faun. Some fine cracks. H 31 cm.

Ausserordentlich fein beschnitztes Elfenbein. Zylindrischer Gefässkörper mit Klappdeckel mit kleinem Putto als Knauf und geschwungenem Henkel in Form einer nackten jungen Frau. Die Wandung mit Darstellung des "Urteil des Paris", Satyr und kleinem Faun. Einige feine Risse. H 31 cm.
