"When you use a Polaroid, whatever you take comes out as a real photograph. Even if you cock it up, you still get a photograph. This is what I like about it... A Polaroid is very personal: it's mine and yours, it belongs to both of us. Photography won't expand without such elements... You take a colour photo with a Polaroid and there's no sense fo it being grainy; it's all wet and slippery. It makes you want to touch it. I like that. You use this camera and it has the effect of bringing to the fore what you want to see and touch."
