GUANYIN. Dark bronze, enthroned on a lion. With Buddha in the Boddhisattva's crown, next to the right shoulder, a lotus petal holds the begging bowl. The petal on the right is broken off, the latter part was subsequently replaced with wood. China, Ming Dynasty. H 16.5 cm.
aus dunkler Bronze, auf einem Löwen thronend. In der Krone trägt der Bodhisattva einen angedeuteten Buddha, neben der rechten Schulter trägt eine Lotosblüte die Almosenschale. Die Blüte zur Linken ist abgebrochen. Vierbeiniges Podest, wobei später der hintere Teil aus Holz ergänzt wurde. China, Ming-Dynastie, H 16,5 cm.
