DAVOS CLOCK WITH WOODEN GEARS
Dated 1809, probably by the watchmaker family Ambühl.
Closed wooden case, the dial painted with flowers and leaves, the top decorated with a scroll. Stacked dials for hours and minutes. Wooden gear train with verge escapement and wheel balance, striking the hour on bell. Rear wall with illegible handwritten inscription.
