FIGURE OF VENUS
Roman, 2nd century A.D. Based on a Hellenistic model.
Bronze with green patina; the eyes inlaid with silver. Standing Venus wearing a tiara and holding a patera (later) in her right hand. On a black base.
H without base 12 cm.
