IMPRESSIVE "COIN" TANKARD
Berlin, dated 1918. Manufactory Gebr. Friedländer.
The inside gilt. Cylindrical body with 36 embedded coins on a domed foot ring. Hinged lid with one embedded coin, thumb rest and large ear-shaped handle. The top features a pedestal with a female figure holding a trumpet and a cornucopia. Engraved dedication on the bottom, "Herrn Karl Marti in dankbarer Erinnerung Lucy Oppenheimer, Nora Allatini 1918."
