A DRUMMER ON HORSEBACK AS SPICE CENTREPIECE
Meissen, mid-18th century.
With two kettle drums as spice bowls with covers, the figure with the right hand raised, wearing a black tricorn and a uniform decorated in pink and yellow and heightened in gold, tied with guard sword. The base applied with flowers and leaves.
H 19.7 cm.
Restoration to one cover, sword and reins.
