SIX PLATES FROM THE “KURLAND SERVICE”
Berlin, KPM (Royal Porcelain Manufactory), ca. 1790. From an order for Duke Peter of Kurland.
The rim decorated with festoons in relief on a sea-green ground, the well painted with a bouquet of flowers and insects. Underglaze blue scepter mark, impressed numbers 31 (2), V (1), 36 (2), 12 (1).
D 25 cm.
