PLATINUM AND DIAMOND POWDER BOX, VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, ca. 1930. Platinum, 175g incl. mirror. Rectangular, engine-turned box, the centre decorated with 1 broad, ribbed band motif, the sprung cover with 1 appliqued barrette motif set throughout with 69 single-cut diamonds weighing ca. 1.00 ct. The pusher is additionally decorated with 5 diamonds. Inside compartment with cover for the powder, 2 corners of the mirror have minimal chip. Signed van Cleef & Arpels No. 42.762, VCA mark and platinum mark. Ca. 8.5 x 5.5 x 1 cm.

Rechteckige, guillochierte Dose verziert in der Mitte mit 1 breiten, gerillten Bandmotiv und auf dem Sprungdeckel 1 appliziertes gewölbtes Barettmotiv ausgefasst mit 69 Achtkant-Diamanten von zus. ca. 1.00 ct. Drücker zusätzlich verziert mit 5 Diamanten. Inneres Fach mit Deckel für den Puder, 2 Ecken des Spiegels mit minimen Ausbrüchen. Signiert van Cleef & Arpels Nr. 42.762, VCA Marke und Platinmarke. Ca. 8,5 x 5,5 x 1 cm.
