DIAMOND AND RUBY NECKLACE, ca. 1900. Platinum and yellow gold. Very attractive pendant with garland, bow, volute and leaf motifs, set throughout with numerous old European cut diamonds weighing ca. 3.00 ct and ca. 30 baguette-cut rubies weighing ca. 0.20 ct. In the centre: a cherub playing the mandolin in yellow gold. The lower part with 1 pendant with 1 drop-cut diamond of ca. 0.40 ct within a border of rubies. On a fine platinum chain, clasp replaced, L ca. 50 cm.
