Double page original drawing in blue and yellow crayon and green pen on main title page, on half title 1 further signed original drawing in the same technique also a page size dedication in various colours on endpaper: 'Pour Gustave Zumsteg amicalement Marc Chagall Vence 1960'. Attractive classic green morocco hand binding with gilt edges and black wild leather end papers (spine slightly faded, original jacket bound in). One of 100 numbered exemplars (total 200) on vélin Montval, signed by Chagall in bookplate.- Very rare and in spotless condition. Literature: Monod 6726. Rauch 147. Cramer, Livres 22.
