FLACON WITH A CLOCKWORK
France, Restoration ca. 1820, the movement plate signed Bourbon Palais Royal N 123.
Metal with chased decoration in the form of scrolls, flower- and leaf motifs, and gilt. Heart-shaped, ending in a fine cylindrical neck at the top, with a glass stopper under a hinged lid. Suspension on the sides with a chain (to be repaired). Front with hinged lid and metal dial with painted numerals underneath. The fine verge escapement with balance.
