A PAIR OF MALACHITE VASES ON PEDESTALS
Empire style, probably Russia, modern work.
Malachite, and matte- and polished gilt bronze. Cylindrical vessel with protruding rim and large handles designed as female mascarons, on a shaped round foot with square plinth. The columns with a square top and a Doric shaft with a Corinthian capital. Opulent bronze mounts and applications designed as a double-headed eagle under a crown, and with decorative friezes.
