Eastern Switzerland, probably Toggenburg, the movement monogrammed HVSE and dated 1785.
Enclosed wooden case, with architectural dial, painted with landscape reserves and flowers. Movement with wooden cogwheels with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Paintwork, retouched. Hour hand, later.
