PAIR OF BALUSTER VASES WITH A BRONZE MOUNT
Napoléon III, Paris ca. 1860. Signed P. Sormani Paris (Paul Sormani, 1817-1877).
Chiseled, gilt bronze and "Vert de Mer" marble. Urn-shaped body on a trumpet foot and a stepped, gilt base decorated with a pearl pattern and reserves. Curved side handles with chimeras. Domed lid with pomegranate finial.
H 52 cm.
Good condition. Minimal edge chips to the marble.
