Transition, Paris, ca. 1760.
Punched, chiseled and gilt bronze. Pierced, architectural top featuring a putto and a cock. White enamel dial with the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. Pierced, chiseled hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell.
H 62 cm.
Movement probably installed somewhat later, gilding rubbed.
