IVORY FIGURE OF CATHERINE II.,late Louis XVI, Russia, 19th century. Exquisite depiction of the Tsarina Catherine II with laurel wreath and Imperial cloak. The lower part hinged, inside a scene from the Treaty of Teschen, with Tsarina and Emperor Joseph II on the side. On a wooden plinth, not original. H 31 cm (with plinth). Ausserordentlich feine Darstellung der Zarin Katharina II. mit Lorbeerkranz und imperialem Mantel. Der Rock aufklappbar, darin Szene aus dem Frieden von Teschen, seitlich die Zarin und Kaiser Joseph II. Auf späterem, profiliertem Holzsockel. H 31 cm (mit Sockel).
