MICRO-MOSAIC PENDANT WITH CHAIN, ca. 1860. Yellow gold. Decorative, hinged pendant in the archaeological style, of a round polychrome micro-mosaic featuring "Cherub and Swan" on a turquoise background with a red border. Mosaic on the hinge decorated with 2 doves of peace on a white background. The lower part has 3 mosaic pendants with geometric motifs and rosettes, minor repairs. The back decorated with 1 large rosette motif and appliquéd ornaments of corded wires. Inside, a round, glass-covered compartment. Sober snake chain with a swivel clasp, L ca. 49.5 cm.
