ENAMEL, DIAMOND, TIGER EYE AND RUBY BROOCH, France ca. 1890. Silver over pink gold. Attractive brooch in the shape of a flying bumblebee, the wings set with 64 rose-cut diamonds, the body of diamond-set and black enamelled bands and 1 round tiger eye cabochon. The head and feelers additionally set with 5 rose-cut diamonds, with 2 small rubies for eyes. Total weight of the diamonds ca. 1.50 ct. Mechanical part removable.
